Maca is known to have adaptogenic properties and therefore may help relieve stressors in the body, thus helping to maintain homeostasis. It is also known for its traditional benefits, and limited research suggests that it may increase libido, energy, endurance, and improve mood. Though preliminary, Maca has been found to increase males’ sexual behavior in some trials. In one study in particular, Maca was found to increase male’s self-rated sexual desire over time when compared to the placebo. Shake well before use. Take up to 15 drops (0.5 mL) 1 to 3 times a day, or as recommended by a physician or healthcare professional. Can be taken directly by mouth or added to water.
